A bit of Peter Pan magic...

I am not really into all things pretty, lacy or frilly. I like clean cut lines, but sometimes I waiver. When I saw the #fatredbirdbib that Sedef from Down Grapevine Lane created with the pattern I thought I might give pretty a go.

So a Peter Pan Collar it was. Simple to do and it even makes pick up trucks look all girly and pretty.

So now we have a bib that looks even more like a cute little top or smock or pinafore, teamed with some bloomers or throw over a onesie for the little ones. For the bigger kids, this would be an inexpensive, cute solution for daycare, playgroup or grandparent visits. Teamed with some leggings and a tee, throw an extra in their back pack for any major spills...super easy, super practical and they look super cute.

What about the boys? A bit of appliqué, a tie, a pocket, a waist coat even, or a bow tie? Here is a little one I did almost a million years ago, its very rough as it was a prototype, so don't look too closely, but it does give you an idea on how simple it is to embellish this little pattern.
I would love to see what you are doing with the #fatredbirdbib pattern. If you are on Instagram make sure you tag #fatredbirdbib so we can all see your fabulous creations.
