The Fat Red Bird Fedora pattern coming to One Thimble

The first Fat Red Bird Fedora
A couple of years ago we moved to the coast and the daily beach visits meant lots of slip, slop, slapping. Right about then I became extremely fond of Fedora hats but hated how plain & boring they all were.

So I set out to make my own. It has taken nearly all of those two years to perfect the right shape, fabric types, interfacing, technique and sizes.

So now it's time to share the results of all that trial and error with you.

The sewing E-Zine One Thimble is out 14th August 2015 and amongst a whole lot of glorious articles and other patterns, you will find The Fat Red Bird Fedora pattern.

I hope you will become as addicted to this little hat as I have over the years. I think our house has more Fedora's these days than actual clothes to wear with it.

Keep your eyes peeled on this website as I will also provide a tutorial soon for creating a form for your hat to ensure you can shape it beautifully.
